Mahavatar Narsimha, an animated devotional action-drama, has achieved a stunning victory in its second weekend, earning a massive ₹34.80 crore. This surprising success not only pushed its total domestic net to ₹91.25 crore, but it also completely overshadowed new releases like Son of Sardaar 2 and the ongoing hit Saiyaara.

While Son of Sardaar 2, starring Ajay Devgn, brought in a respectable ₹24.75 crore, and Saiyaara continued its successful run with ₹19.25 crore in its third weekend, neither could compete with the unprecedented surge of Mahavatar Narsimha. The film’s second-weekend earnings saw a staggering 219% jump from its debut, proving its powerful mythological storytelling and devotional appeal have struck a chord with audiences.
